Job Overview

  • Exciting opportunity for a Nurse Manager Women and Children's Services at an award-winning hospital in Nevada
  • Join a dedicated team of healthcare professionals focused on quality care and safety
  • The hospital offers a broad range of services including emergency and trauma care, surgery, oncology, women's health, pediatrics, and more
  • Manage daily operations of the department and oversee LDRP, Pediatrics, childbirth education, and lactation
  • Report to the Director of Specialty Nursing Services
  • Lead a team of 75 FTE's and 85 Direct Reports

Responsibilities

  • Manage the clinical and administrative operations of the department
  • Serve as a clinical expert and department resource
  • Collaborate with hospital leadership and physician providers
  • Lead recruitment and professional development activities
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards
  • Oversee department fiscal budgets

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required
  • Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) preferred
  • Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Women and Children's Services
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards and best practices
