Operates machine to cut teeth in clock and watch wheels: Clamps wheel blank in chuck of dividing head of machine. Mounts and adjusts cutting tools of specified sizes in turret. Starts motor, causing turret to rotate tool that cuts out groove in wheel. Turns turret to successively blank and cut groove to specified depth and width, using different sized tools. Verifies depth and width of cut, using precision gauges, and quality of cut, using jeweler’s loupe.
