Compiles reports, such as dockage, demurrage, wharfage, and storage, to ensure that shipping companies are assessed specified harbor fees: Compares information on statements, records, and reports with ship’s manifest to determine that weight, measurement, and classification of commodities are in accordance with tariff. Calculates tariff assessment from ship’s manifest to ensure that charges are correct. Prepares and submits reports. Inspects sheds and wharves to determine need for repair.
