What does a Trim Machine Adjuster do?

Sets up battery of machines that trim small arms cartridge cases and artillery shell cases to specified length: Installs cutters and adjusts stops and cams to regulate machine stroke and synchronize movements of feeding, cutting, and ejection mechanisms, using handtools. Sharpens dulled cutters and polishes scratched punches, using bench grinder, speed lathe, and emery cloth. Removes housings, guards, feed tubes, chutes, tool holders, and other accessories to replace worn or broken parts, such as springs, bushings, and push-rods. May straighten bent punches and machine parts, using hammer and anvil.
