What does a Slip-Cover Sewer do?

Operates sewing machine to join parts, stitch piping or welt to seams, and stitch pleats to form slip covers: Guides parts under machine needle to join them. Positions piping or welt on seam and guides under machine needle to strengthen and decorate covers. Folds pleats in covers, using ruler to measure width and distance between pleats, and guides them under machine needle to stitch pleats.
