What does a Nut Processing Supervisor do?
Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in cracking, sorting, blanching, cutting, grinding, roasting, packing, and shipping nuts: Sets up and repairs nut-processing machines, such as nut-cracking machine, meat grading machine, or nut-cutting machines. Observes operation of machines to detect malfunctions or to detect worn parts. Inspects nuts to verify conformance with plant standards. May install and service showcases in retail stores to display nut products. Performs other duties as described under SUPERVISOR Master Title.
