What does a Model Making Supervisor do?
Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in making models, such as mechanical and electric clocks, timers, and controls: Sets up and operates lathe, milling machine, shaper, grinder, and related machines and equipment [MODEL MAKER]. Trains new workers. Inspects models or fabricated parts for conformance to specifications, using gauges, micrometers, and other precision instruments. Assembles and tests models to verify performance standards. Requisitions materials and parts. Performs other duties as described under SUPERVISOR Master Title.
