Installs prefabricated metal flooring in railroad cars preparatory to welding, using handtools and portable power tools: Measures transverse centerline of car to determine location of flooring, using location fixtures. Positions flooring sections in specified relationship to side sill or longitudinal centerline, using rule, gauge, and pry bars. Secures flooring to underframe of car in preparation for welding, using wedges and jacks.
