What does a Lathing Supervisor do?
Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in fastening wooden, metal, or rockboard lathing to walls, ceilings, and partitions of buildings to provide supporting base for plaster, fireproofing, or acoustical material: Measures and marks partition locations and center lines, plumbs and levels vertical and horizontal alignment of walls and ceilings, and draws guidelines to correct irregularities. Inspects work in progress to verify adherence to specifications. Trains and assists workers in performance of tasks. Performs duties as described under SUPERVISOR Master Title.
