What does a Cover Inspector do?
Inspects sewed parts of cushion and upholstery covers for stitching defects and conformity to specifications: Marks defects with chalk and rips out faulty seams. Measures skirts with yardstick. Records number of defects found. May carry defective covers to sewing department and identify defects to be repaired. May be designated according to type of cover inspected as Cushion-Cover Inspector; Sofa-Cover Inspector.
