Places leads of armature coils into commutator bar slots and secures leads, using drift and hammer. Brazes or pours molten solder over connections, using brazing torch or soldering pot and ladle. Tapes connections, and laces and ties coil leads to stator end windings or commutator risers, using tape hook [LACER AND TIER]. May test unit for short circuit, grounds, and weak insulation.
