What does a Claims Supervisor do?

Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in examining insurance claims for payment in claims division of insurance company: Analyzes and approves insurance and matured endowment claims. Conducts personal interviews with policy owners and beneficiaries to explain procedure for filing claims. Submits statement of claim liabilities to actuarial department for review. Informs departmental supervisors on claims status. Evaluates job performance of subordinates. Performs duties described under SUPERVISOR Master Title.
