What does a Box Inspector do?
Inspects and repairs wood boxes: Examines partially or completely assembled boxes and crates for defects, such as cracks, nicks, holes, and diagonally driven and protruding nails. Removes diagonally driven nails and drives in protruding nails, using hammer. Smooths rough spots and edges, using sanding block or wire brush. Rejects substandard boxes. May sort assembled boxes according to specified groups.
